Rajendra Bista, Coordinator Mr Rajendra Bista was born in 1984 (39 Years old) in Madane1, Gulmidistrict of Nepal. His family lived there for 4 generations. He got married and has two sons. Mr Bista got his basic education from the Government Village School and went later for further education in Tamagast and Tanzen/Palpa. There he completed his Bachelor's and master's in business and administration. He had some language training and was prepared to go out of the Country to work in Korea. At that time, 6 Years ago he got the offer to coordinate the Ofenmacher program in Gulmi. He decided to stay in Nepal and work for the development of his home area. Since that, he is an active member of the SwosthaChulo team and implemented the maintenance program for Smokefree Chula in the district. Rajendra is active in local politics and works for cooperation with the local Government, to bring forward the development of his village. His wife is the president of a Women’s cooperative and Teacher in the village school. With her support he is willing to implement electric cooking in the whole area, to introduce safe and clean cooking for better living conditions in the village.
